Reporting to the Digital Systems team leader, the Technical Program Manager (TPM) will develop and oversee ‘Proof of Value’ projects in London and New York, as well as other smart building pilot projects. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, setting measurable project targets, and leading vendor teams. The TPM will serve as a point of escalation for teams, problem-solve challenges, and manage procurement of resources required for project completion.
Responsibilities:
- This role requires both strategic and tactical execution. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively engaging with stakeholders.
- Collaborating with project vendor teams, assessing their progress against agreed goals, and resolving issues.
- Identifying opportunities to improve project velocity and value delivery.
- Reporting progress to the Digital Systems team leader.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to the role or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years managing programs within a technical portfolio, working with cross-functional and outsourced teams.
- Experience managing programs for a portfolio of buildings across multiple locations, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.
- Experience in procurement and vendor negotiations, including managed service delivery.
- Background in smart buildings, control systems, IoT systems, IoT cybersecurity, energy management, or related fields.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Industry certification in smart buildings, control systems, IoT systems, IoT cybersecurity, energy management, or related fields.
- Proven experience delivering technology and technical infrastructure projects in corporate real estate across multiple locations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and meeting objectives on time and within budget.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $89.29 to $99.22 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
