Our agency client is looking to start a hybrid, contract (w2) Community Manager to work 4 days per week onsite in their Los Angeles office and 1 day per week remotely:

Job Title: Associate Community Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Associate Community Manager to build and engage a thriving online community around our brand(s). This role involves developing and executing social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. As the voice of our brand, you will monitor and respond to online conversations, identify brand advocates, and analyze social media performance to optimize community growth.

 

We’re looking for someone with experience with brands in the food industry, hospitality, consumer product goods in this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with marketing and business goals.

  • Create engaging social media content, including posts, videos, and images.

  • Manage brand presence across all social platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).

  • Monitor and actively engage in online conversations about the brand.

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with brand advocates.

  • Analyze social media data and provide performance reports.

  • Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing or community management.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute social media strategies.

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and industry best practices.

  • Excellent writing, communication, and content creation skills.

  • Experience with community management tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Falcon, Sprout).

  • Proficiency in:

    • Centralized Inbox Management – Handling incoming messages and mentions across multiple networks.

    • Social Listening – Monitoring brand and industry conversations online.

    • Content Scheduling & Publishing – Planning and scheduling posts in advance.

    • Analytics & Reporting – Tracking key metrics like engagement, reach, and sentiment.

    • Team Collaboration – Working with multiple team members to manage social accounts.

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $34.85 – $38.45/hr.

Compensation is based on several factors, including education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
