As an Expert Designer, you’ll be the driving force behind newness and energy, balancing bold concepts with brand priorities. Collaborating with internal and external partners, you’ll craft footwear that fuses worlds, ensuring each design is both visionary and commercially viable.
What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design and development of innovative footwear from concept to execution, shaping every detail from construction and form to fit and performance.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal teams, aligning visions, refining concepts, and pushing creative boundaries.
• Consider cost, sustainability, and manufacturability throughout the design process.
• Inspire and elevate the future of footwear, driving innovation and setting new industry standards.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in product design or a related field, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing innovative footwear and other products.
• Deep understanding of form, color, materials, and human factors related to enhancing the consumer experience.
• Proven ability to translate consumer insights into product solutions and compelling narratives.
• Experience in technical footwear design.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Ability to create accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs).
• Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to generate a diverse range of concepts and solutions for each project.
• Experience with presentation programs such as Keynote, PowerPoint, and Acrobat.
• Positive and energetic personality, contributing to a collaborative team culture.
• Proven ability to connect with other design groups and lead partnerships beyond the design function (Marketing, Engineering, Development, etc.).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with running design.
• Cobbling and prototyping skills.
• Experience with 3D design programs.
• Knowledge and experience with sustainable design and manufacturing.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.00 to $46.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
