We are looking for a Business Analyst for a 5 month engagement staring early January. You will partner with the Threat Intelligence team, and be instrumental in designing, building, and implementing a cutting-edge ArcGIS-backed tool to enhance security and resilience. As a GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with the Threat Intelligence team to gather requirements, develop project plans, and design the user interface for a revamped threat monitoring application.
- Building backend data tables to support the functionality and data flow within the ArcGIS application.
- Partnering with a key vendor and internal technology teams to deploy and maintain the application within the production ArcGIS Enterprise environment.
- Leveraging your expertise in geospatial data analysis and the Esri ArcGIS software suite to drive insightful decision-making.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, Business Information Management, or a related field, or a combination of equivalent education, training, and experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with Esri ArcGIS software (Pro, Enterprise).
- Expertise in SQL.
- Strong foundation in data acquisition, data management, data analysis, data models, and data editing.
- Demonstrated experience in product and program management.
- Proficiency in developing repeatable and efficient data automation to streamline processes and methods.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Experience Builder.
- Experience with Azure SQL databases.
- Experience with Python, HTML, or JavaScript.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $38.99 to $43.33 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
