Partnering with Aquent, a global leader in creative staffing, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing the contract-to-pay process, ensuring seamless collaboration between business, finance, legal, and vendor teams. Your meticulous approach and exceptional communication skills will be essential in driving efficiency and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
As a Purchasing Analyst, you will be immersed in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal and external partners to streamline purchasing operations. You will be responsible for managing the entire purchasing lifecycle, from contract initiation to final payment. This includes:
- Centralized purchase order (PO) management, tracking from contract to payment, and ensuring appropriate accounting treatment.
- Invoice management, including review, approval, and dispute resolution.
- Ensuring timely payments aligned with contract terms, managing payment exceptions as needed.
- Partnering with business partners and vendors to address billing and payment discrepancies.
- Training new employees on PO and vendor intake processes.
- Creating and managing vendor profiles.
- Tracking open commitments, invoices, and vendor setups.
- Preparing and submitting capital expenditure (CAPEX) reports.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with Coupa, Aravo, and SAP.
- Finance experience or background.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $29.40 to $32.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
