As the primary on-site IT support, you will be responsible for maintaining the critical technology that keeps the facility running. This includes deploying and troubleshooting hardware, supporting network infrastructure, and collaborating on key IT projects. Your ability to operate independently and make sound technical decisions will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices (desktops, laptops, scanners, printers).
- Provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Assist with Cisco network equipment configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Execute site-level tasks for IT projects (hardware refreshes, upgrades, rollouts).
- Monitor and maintain critical IT systems.
- Communicate effectively with end-users, operations leadership, and IT teams.
- Follow IT processes (change control, incident management, hardware tracking).
- Manage local IT inventory and equipment.
- Provide regional IT support to other facilities as needed.
- Gather, interpret, and communicate complex data.
- Assist in system change management and deployment.
- Troubleshoot routine system and mainframe batch issues.
- Contribute to statistical reporting of metrics and operational performance.
- Manage and track service orders, participate in feasibility studies, and assist with proposal preparations.
- Provide training on new technology and applications.
- Deliver customer assistance with software, hardware, and network issues.
- Administer policies and procedures, and assume operational assignments as required.
- Process online change/add/move requests and resolve billing issues.
- Support project leaders with administrative tasks for communications systems.
- Monitor customer inquiries and complaints to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Manage hardware resources and prepare business cases/appropriations requests.
- Monitor and report on operational/financial metrics.
- Collaborate with process staff to achieve strategic plans.
- Assist with security consulting and detecting security violations.
- Gather audit comments and follow-up documentation.
- Provide vital records and disaster recovery support.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and reporting for facility projects.
- Determine, monitor, and review facility project costs, budgets, and staffing.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Two-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, planning, and data management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks within time constraints.
- Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
