Join a leading automotive manufacturer, partnering with Aquent, and make a direct impact on their nationwide operations. As the sole on-site IT expert, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth flow of their processing center. You will be responsible for keeping critical systems running, ensuring seamless connectivity, and empowering end-users with the technology they need to excel. This dynamic role blends hands-on technical expertise with independent problem-solving. You’ll be the go-to person for everything IT, from troubleshooting hardware and software issues to managing network infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and productivity of the processing center, making you an essential part of the team.
What You’ll Do:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain end-user devices (desktops, laptops, scanners, printers).
- Provide on-site support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco network equipment (switches, access points).
- Execute IT projects, including hardware refreshes and system rollouts.
- Monitor and maintain critical IT systems.
- Document issues, resolutions, and device configurations.
- Manage local IT inventory and asset tracking.
- Travel to regional processing centers for support and project execution.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with hardware deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Cisco networking concepts and equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to travel regularly to regional locations.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
