We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to lead our recruitment strategy and collaborate with System Planning & Engineering (SPE) leadership in hiring top engineering talent for critical infrastructure projects. This individual will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, sourcing qualified candidates, and ensuring compliance with industry hiring standards. This role will require occasional travel to our Irwindale, CA office and/or job fairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies for engineering roles, including Systems Engineers, High Voltage Specialists (200kV & 500kV), Utility Engineers, and Substation Engineering professionals.
- Collaborate with SPE leadership to understand hiring needs and align recruitment efforts with company objectives.
- Source, screen, and assess candidates using various methods, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent.
- Manage applicant tracking systems efficiently and ensure compliance with OFCCP guidelines and employment laws.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate hiring processes with stakeholders.
- Provide market insights and best practices in technical and engineering recruitment.
Required Skills/Attributes
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in technical and engineering fields.
- Proven expertise in sourcing, applicant screening, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Extensive experience sourcing candidates via LinkedIn and other professional networks.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) (SuccessFactors).
- Strong knowledge of OFCCP guidelines and employment laws.
Desired Skills/Attributes
- Experience with SuccessFactors, recruiting certifications, LinkedIn Certification
- Previous experience recruiting for high-voltage and utility engineering roles is highly desirable.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $31.42 to $34.92 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
