The WAMS Platform Consultant will help serve the needs of prospective and established RIA clients by providing in-depth subject matter expertise related to select investment platforms and their associated capabilities. The Platform Consultant will partner closely with key groups within Advisor Services (i.e., Relationship Management, Business Development, Client Service) as well as Wealth and Advice Solutions (i.e., Investment Offers and Solutions, WAMS RIA Distribution). Key aspects of the role include educating AS counterparts and RIA clients on platform capabilities, growing the investment platforms and capabilities they support, and managing critical relationships both internally within AS and among the advisory firms they support. This is a highly collaborative and impactful field and client facing role within the WAMS team in our collective efforts to best serve RIA clients and grow the AS business.
What you have
Required qualifications:
• Knowledge of asset management distribution platforms and associated capabilities
• Expertise with model portfolios, funds, managed accounts and alternatives
• Deep industry and competitive knowledge of associated products and platforms
• Client/field facing experience with history engaging with RIAs and/or asset managers
• Strong track record of dedicated relationship management
• Minimum 7-10 years of asset management or wealth management experience
• Active and valid FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Preferred qualifications:
• Understanding of Advisor Services (AS) structure and the platforms, offerings, systems and support teams associated with AS
• Familiarity with applicable systems and tools (i.e., Salesforce, Tableau, etc.)
• Proven strategic approach to frame up communications and summaries to share insights and results with stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive efficient prioritization through effective collaboration and relationship management
• Expertise in public speaking in a variety of settings and audiences
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $65.04 to $72.27 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
