Copywriter (Financial Services)

Overview

• Your main goal is to deliver fresh, creative thinking across multiple platforms on a consistent basis 
• You’re a strategic thinker who can solve a client’s problem from a brief 
• You’re comfortable sticking to timelines while managing multiple projects 
• You’re excellent at managing time to deliver work on time 
• You’re known as a team player who engages in meetings, collaborates well with others, and offers to lend a hand wherever they can 
• You ask smart, challenging questions that help your team get closer to reaching your client 
• You can express financial concepts in our conversational brand voice 
• You can review copy in layout to ensure accuracy 
• You’ll assist senior copywriters and managers on larger projects 
• You can get familiar with the editorial style guide 
• You have no ego, despite being able to nail all the above functions

• You can brainstorm, create, and develop executions from a creative brief 
• You can concept human truth ideas that are effective and engaging 
• You’re confident in delivering all lengths of copy from tag lines to video scripts 
• You are skilled in writing in different tones. 
• You can present and sell creative ideas to clients 
• You have a way of turning feedback from supervisors into even better work 
• You have an impressive copywriting portfolio website 
• You have 2-5-ish yrs experience. We’re more about quality than quantity 
• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience 
• Communications, Advertising, English major preferred 
• You hate that there’s a period at the end of bullet four

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $41.99 to $46.66/Hourly (W2). Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
