We are looking for authorized, local T4 candidates who can commute twice per week to our client’s Greater Toronto Area, ON office
Our large client is seeking a Digital Product Owner to join their Digital Products team. In this Consultant role, you will develop and execute customer experience strategies for digital onboarding and servicing of financial products and services.
Within this role, you will work closely with various departments across the larger organization. Ideally, you will be passionate about digital technologies, excel in creative thinking/problem solving and execution,
What you’ll do
Product Ownership and Backlog Management
- Be accountable for the product backlog; define, create, and prioritize backlog items (epics/features/user stories) and proactively address issues.
- Incorporate accessibility requirements into user stories.
- Conduct pre-launch and ongoing assessments to ensure web content adheres to mandated standards.
Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Clearly communicate the product vision and tell ‘the story’ effectively to key stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate issues, ideas, and concepts (verbally and in writing) between business and technical parties.
- Work creatively with stakeholders to address areas of concern without diminishing the user experience.
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Business Stakeholders, and IT Partners to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Manage approvals required to deliver projects, including Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Customer Service.
Customer Experience and Competitive Research
- Research the competitive landscape to identify new solutions or improve existing customer experiences.
- Investigate customer issues/points of friction, propose and gain alignment for solutions, and oversee the remediation plan.
- Track NPS, monitor CTB digital performance, and benchmark against competitors to identify strengths and opportunities.
Project Oversight and Performance Monitoring
- Oversee all projects through to deployment.
- Provide the team with updates on the digital landscape and new opportunities.
What you bring
Experience and Industry Knowledge
- 2+ years of product management experience; product management/marketing experience in the credit card or digital banking industry is an asset.
- Solid understanding of digital banking platforms, FinTech solutions, mobile/web banking apps.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies, preferably in SAFe.
Tools and Technical Expertise
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience working with wireframes and a strong understanding of UX.

Education
- University graduate, degree in business or marketing preferred.
