Our Client, a multinational retailer, is seeking a Senior Global Production Traffic Manager to join their team. This person is a key strategic leader, acting as the central hub for collaboration between global stakeholders, including Brand Teams, agency partners, and internal departments. This role bridges creative vision with operational precision, ensuring seamless project execution from concept to delivery for the Production and Digital Teams.

With a focus on optimizing workflows and fostering collaboration, the Senior Global Production Traffic Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality creative results on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Workflow Management

  • Lead and oversee the traffic management process, ensuring global briefs are complete, actionable, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Utilize tools like Workfront to maintain transparent workflows, enabling smooth project progression through production stages.
  • Ensure deadlines are met by maintaining accountability, identifying efficiency opportunities, and upholding process integrity.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Brand Teams, Design Leads, and external agency partners to align creative deliverables with regional goals.
  • Foster strong relationships across internal and external teams, ensuring open communication and alignment on objectives.
  • Proactively address challenges to maintain project momentum and successful outcomes.

3. Production and Project Management Expertise

  • Support Brand Teams in coordinating various production needs, including photoshoots and creative initiatives.
  • Source and book production resources, including photographers, studios, and models, to ensure projects meet creative goals.
  • Provide expert insights on production processes, from on-set operations to casting talent aligned with brand standards.
  • Manage production budgets, vendor invoicing, and payment processes while maintaining relationships with local and international production companies.
  • Anticipate production challenges, providing proactive solutions to ensure adherence to protocols and best practices.

4. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including project volume, timelines, team capacity, and profitability metrics.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations through regular status reports, highlighting successes and opportunities for improvement.

5. Leadership and Team Collaboration

  • Partner with Creative Operations leadership to prioritize workloads and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and project management excellence.
  • Lead team meetings to keep projects on track, resolve issues, and ensure clear communication.

6. Optimization and Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement workflow enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness in creative operations.
  • Conduct retrospectives to evaluate project outcomes and apply actionable insights for future success.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and leverage them to elevate global creative operations.

Qualifications and Expertise

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Multimedia, or related fields.
  • Experience: 7+ years in traffic or project management in a fast-paced agency environment, with production experience in digital and print.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-channel campaigns across regions and functions.
  • Strong knowledge of creative production processes, including photography, video, and digital asset creation.
  • Proficiency in workflow tools (e.g., Workfront) and KPI tracking.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing high-level stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible, proactive problem-solver with a passion for operational excellence and collaboration.

Ideal candidates are located in Toronto. This position will be remote, but local candidates are preferred.
