Our client, a large financial services company, is seeking a skilled Web API Development Engineer with strong experience in .NET technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying critical APIs for mobile applications in an enterprise environment.
Key Qualifications:

API Development: Proven experience using ASP.Net Core to build resilient, RESTful API services with C# and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design patterns.

Software Principles: Solid understanding of SOLID principles, containerization, microservices architecture, and effective debugging techniques with Visual Studio IDE.

Unit Testing: Hands-on experience creating unit tests in C# using frameworks like MSTest or xUnit.NET.

CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with continuous integration and deployment using tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket/Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.

Cloud Deployment: Familiar with deploying to cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing strategies like Blue-Green, Canary, or Big-Bang deployments.

Application Monitoring: Proficiency in monitoring application health, availability, and performance using tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.

API Test Automation: Expertise in testing REST APIs using automation tools like Postman, Mabl, jMeter, or SoapUI.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $62 to $67.33. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
