Our money transfer app client is looking to bring on a hybrid, temp to perm, Senior Bilingual Copywriter to start ASAP: 

 

Senior Bilingual Copywriter (English/Spanish) –

 

This is a hybrid role with Tuesday-Thursday worked onsite at our client’s Chicago, IL office. Monday and Friday worked remotely.

 

About The Role:

 

We are seeking a talented, creative, and highly collaborative Bilingual Copywriter to contribute to the marketing success of our company. As part of the Brand team, our Senior Bilingual Copywriter will enjoy working directly with CRM partners, creative and media agencies, and product managers as we work to rebrand the business. You will deliver creative and targeted copy for a wide variety of projects including CRM campaigns, paid media ads, brand campaigns, in-app and web messaging, social media and more. Our Senior Bilingual Copywriter invests in understanding our product and consumer to craft messages that make impactful connections with our audiences. The role reports to the Head of Brand Strategy.

 

As Senior Bilingual Copywriter, you’ll get to:

 

  • Write creative, effective Spanish & English copy for CRM Email, SMS and push notification campaigns, and other projects to deliver complete, error-free copy with all necessary legal language.

  • Oversee Spanish translation and transcreation efforts across multiple consumer touchpoints partnering closely with CRM, legal and product.

  • Work closely with brand and agency to develop relevant brand guidelines for copy style and tone of voice to be maintained throughout projects.

  • Write paid media, SEM, blogs, and social display ad copy to support brand campaigns, product launches, promotions and holidays.

  • Help manage asset trafficking between brand and media agencies to ensure all assets and corresponding copy is correct and timely.

  • Complete minor edits to images using adobe illustrator or similar tools to prepare for CRM campaigns

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or Advertising preferred

  • 5+ years of copywriting in all forms of consumer and business writing

  • Fluency and stellar writing skills in English and Spanish

  • Expert knowledge of copyediting and grammar rules (and when to break them)

  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Comfortability with taking initiative and able to work against deadlines with minimum supervision in a fast-paced work environment

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
