DAM (Digital Asset Manager) Administrator

Remote role – must work CST or EST hours

Pay: $48-50/ hourly as W2, full benefits offered.

Length of contract: Ongoing need.

This is a great role joining an established team within a major financial organization that supports Document and Content Management.

Our established Financial client is continuing to build a world class Marketing Organization committed to driving results with their retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences.

The Document and Content Management team oversees the creation, updating, maintenance and governance of various content and customer communications. They are seeking a Digital Asset Management (DAM) Administrator (Consultant) to manage the administration of the DAM platform.

Reporting to the VP, Digital Asset Manager, this consultant role will support the vision for the DAM by providing the administration (Administrator) for the platform, helping with the curation of all video, digital and print assets created for their multiple marketing campaigns, and regulatory assets used throughout the organization and acting as the change manager for the DAM processes.

Key needs for this DAM Administrator include:

  • Working to have users across the organization adopt new processes.
  • This consultant will work with outside creative Agencies, building relationships with, and educating them on the overall DAM system. Internally within the broader Marketing organization this Administrator will partner with, and educate internal client marketing managers
  • The goal for all partners will be adoption of new processes related to the DAM.
  • Someone with a strong troubleshooting background will do well in this role.
  • Previous experience using Sitecore is ideal.
  • Someone with a strong metadata background will be ideal in this role.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The Administrator will support the vision and direction of the DAM that has been provided by the manager and organization.
  • Focus on the people side of change, which involves preparing, supporting and equipping people to adopt and use the changes to some business processes in relation to the DAM
  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize user adoption and usage of required changes. These responsibilities also include plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors from users and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes
  • Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications
  • Daily maintenance, review, and delivery of DAM assets ensuring they adhere to
  • DAM governance with the support of the Librarians
  • Manage the creation, maintenance, and execution of metadata, facet/filtering, taxonomy structure, and security user/group permissions
  • Review taxonomy and Metadata frequently for changes required, based upon business and process changes
  • Ensure that metadata entries are accurate to meet a 99.9% goal in the DAM.
  • Troubleshooting for the DAM platform
  • Assist in training users and create instructional documents or videos.
  • Monitor content quality.
  • Develop standard reports and summarize trends for asset usage, adoption, and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain governance documentation for all administrative processes and setup for the DAM
  • Build relationships with all DAM users and continue to grow and extend usage throughout the organization
  • Comply with our client’s branding and standardizations
  • Perform various other tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience administration within DAM systems (i.e., Tenovos, Widen, Workfront, AEM, etc.)
  • Familiarity with metadata for tagging assets and cataloging taxonomy
  • Strong workflow development, ability to capture requirements and develop a plan
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Information Technology, Master’s degree preferred or work experience
  • Prior work experience supporting Marketing functions in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Ability to simultaneously work on multiple project deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent active listening skills

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48-50 / hourly as a W2 employee. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in a 401k plan with company match.
