Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Product Marketing Manager to drive consumer growth for web app extensions. This is a short-term contract position aimed at filling in for a full-time team member on leave. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing marketing strategies and executing initiatives to maximize conversion rates and drive quality growth.


  • Serve as the primary strategist for marketing efforts, leading communication with the broader Marketing + Communications teams to align initiatives with overall objectives.
  • Optimize and update user flows for products, including copy, screens, and experiences, to enhance conversion rates and user satisfaction.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of funnel and user flow data to identify optimization opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Review landing experiences on .com and app stores, identifying opportunities for A/B testing and asset development to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing, Communications, Social, and regional North American Marketing teams to develop and execute promotional plans that drive quality growth
  • Ensure clear and transparent communication of Fakespot’s privacy policies and data usage practices to consumers.
  • Lead the launch of new Fakespot features, developing go-to-market plans and serving as the intermediary between the product team and Marketing/Communications teams.


  • Background in growth marketing with a strong understanding of optimization opportunities.
  • Familiarity with tech environments, ideally having worked with app or web app downloads to drive installations.
  • Experience in driving growth metrics, such as download to install conversion rates.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product teams.
  • Experience in startup environments is preferred.
  • Availability for 90-minute interviews with three stakeholders, with a sense of urgency to start as soon as possible.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $55 to $62 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
