Our client is looking for a Sr. UX Product Designerswith outstanding portfolios with enterprise level work. Your will be working on the digital experiences for underwriters. From a design standpoint, strong use of white space and overall design excellence required. Agency experience is OK but must have experience working with large enterprise clients. Must have Agile experience, product team will be PO & engineers (traditional make up). Candidate must understand what ‘customer centric means’. How to incorporate user research into design. Good critical thinking skills. The roles will be working on internal tools for underwriters so enterprise level internal tools experience is a plus.
 

About the Role: 

They are looking for a Product Designer who, under general direction, will create user-centered design solutions that feature ease of use, employ best-in-class interaction design, and optimize the user experience. Our work spans a range of areas, from customer facing digital products, to internal tools used by agents to better serve our customers. In this role you will work with business, technical, and product leads to understand the business vision, objectives and transformation plans to help identify opportunities for competitive advantage. 

 

You could be a great fit for this role if you are:

• A Visual Craftsman: You will create conceptual sketches to communicate design ideas as well as detailed design specifications for the finished product. You will ensure brand standards are appropriately integrated into all final designs to deliver a consistent experience.

• An Experience Innovator: You will work throughout all phases of the design process such as conceptual design, storyboards, persona/scenario development, user task/interaction flow diagrams, information hierarchy, wireframes, and prototypes.

• A Customer Advocate: You will help identify user research needs and participate in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing. You will continuously seek and integrate user feedback and test results to optimize solutions.

• A Natural Collaborator: You will work with multiple functions, including product owners and developers throughout the product lifecycle, seeking frequent feedback, and integrating multiple considerations into your work. 

 

This role might be for you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years of experience in a related field.

• Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup.

• Familiarity with the following core disciplines, with demonstrated expertise in at least two and familiarity with two others: visual design, UX design, prototyping, front-end development, user research and/or experiment design.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Proven ability to present projects and status reports to senior management.

• Strong organization and analytic thinking skills, with ability to translate moderately complex content into user scenarios, flows and diagrams. Proven track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

“The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $66.28 to $73.64 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
