About the Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Deal Desk Analyst to support their North America Digital Marketing Sales force by structuring profitable and compliant transactions that meet both customer needs and client’s business objectives. This role plays a critical part in managing the deal approval process, accelerating deal closures, and ensuring adherence to company policies and revenue recognition standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage first-line approvals for deal structuring and deal closure acceleration.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customers’ business challenges and structure transactions accordingly.
  • Oversee the day-to-day deal approval process and communicate deal value through documented business cases with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and certify customer contracts ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Maintain adherence to revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines.
  • Work closely with Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Revenue Assurance, Order Management, Credit, and other internal teams.
  • Prepare in-quarter deal status reports and provide timely updates to management.
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk functions.
  • Experience drafting and analysing binding sales agreements.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments.
  • Experience in structuring multi-element contracts (subscriptions, licences, services, and support).
  • Proficiency in software revenue recognition accounting (SOP 97-2) and related standards.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
