We are looking for a Microsoft Word Expert with advanced technical skills and a passion for helping others master the platform.

In this role, you’ll not only create and format professional documents but also train team members on best practices, templates, and tools within Microsoft Word.

You will ensure all documents are visually consistent, well-structured, and brand-compliant — while empowering others to produce high-quality work independently.

This position combines technical precision, creative problem-solving, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, format, and refine documents such as reports, proposals, manuals, contracts, and templates.
  • Develop and maintain branded Word templates, ensuring consistency in styles, layouts, and formatting across the organization.
  • Train and mentor employees on using Microsoft Word effectively — from basic formatting to advanced features.
  • Create training materials and user guides for Word best practices, including templates, shortcuts, and document workflows.
  • Host group workshops or one-on-one sessions to build user proficiency and confidence with Microsoft Word.
  • Implement advanced Word features such as mail merge, forms, macros, cross-references, and automated tables of contents.
  • Troubleshoot formatting issues and provide quick solutions to maintain document integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with teams (communications, operations, legal, etc.) to ensure documents meet company and client standards.
  • Continuously improve documentation processes, recommending tools or methods to streamline workflow.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word (Microsoft 365 or Office 365).
  • Proven experience creating professional, complex documents and templates.
  • Experience training or teaching users on Microsoft Word — either in workshops, corporate settings, or one-on-one sessions.
  • Deep understanding of styles, templates, section breaks, tables, and layout tools.
  • Familiarity with macros, VBA scripting, and automation in Word (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
  • Experience in corporate, legal, or educational environments is an advantage.
