Freelance Opportunity – Product Designer (UX/UI)
Location: Lyon, France (3 days/week on-site, full-time engagement)
Sector: Pharmaceutical industry – Manufacturing & Supply
This is a unique chance to design tools that matter: solutions used daily on production sites, making operators’ work easier while supporting large-scale industrial performance. You’ll be part of a dynamic innovation hub where design is a strategic driver of transformation.
We are building a talent pool of freelance Product Designers to support a major player in the pharmaceutical industry. Based in Lyon, you will join an innovation hub dedicated to designing internal digital tools that improve productivity, streamline workflows, and make complex industrial processes more user-friendly.
Main responsibilities
- Partner with end-users on production sites to understand their needs and challenges.
- Design user-centered interfaces and workflows for complex digital products internal applications.
- Prototype, test, and iterate solutions to ensure efficiency and usability.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business experts to deliver impactful tools.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems for scalable and consistent experiences.
About you
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX/UI work for complex digital products, idealy for physical Manufacturing & Supply environment, including Information Architecture, Interaction Design, UI workflows, dashboards, and enterprise applications.
- Experience designing for operational or industrial environments is a strong plus.
- Mastery of Figma and prototyping tools.
- Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, efficient digital solutions.
- Knowledge of Human-Centered Design and agile/iterative methodologies.
- Based in Lyon and open to working on-site 3 days per week.
