We are looking for a Purchasing Analyst for our Global client. This will be a 1-2 month onsite engagement in Beaverton, OR. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of products to the North American marketplace, contributing directly to the success of each season’s product launches. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on a large scale, working with a passionate team dedicated to delivering world-class products to consumers.
As a Purchasing Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process from start to finish, ensuring timely product delivery and upholding high standards of business practice. You will collaborate with various teams, providing critical support and strategic insights that shape the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage bi-monthly inventory purchases for the North American marketplace.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners regarding inventory and purchase order matters.
  • Execute tasks impacting supply, delivery, and product manufacturing.
  • Support strategic initiatives from partners to shape the marketplace.
  • Connect with consumer planners, reporting post-buy results and addressing any issues.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze data to determine next steps.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of work experience, ideally demonstrating career progression.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system for managing sales and purchase orders.
  • Supply chain and operations experience.
  • Curious mindset, proactive communication style, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $31.20 to $34.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
