As an Inventory Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data, analyzing trends, and implementing process improvements to minimize costs. You will play a vital role in training staff, ensuring accurate cycle counts, and resolving inventory discrepancies. This position requires a data-driven approach, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update inventory data regularly, ensuring accuracy at all times.
  • Analyze inventory data to improve management and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop standard work processes for inventory management and location usage.
  • Train staff on proper system usage for inventory management.
  • Analyze demand patterns and inventory levels to establish optimal par levels.
  • Assist with the creation of new par location setups.
  • Implement process improvements to reduce inventory and minimize costs.
  • Develop reports on inventory utilization and key metrics.
  • Monitor and resolve inventory issues effectively.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and analyze discrepancies.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Three (3) years of inventory control experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, techniques, and systems.
  • Proficient data entry and computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional behavior.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $24.77 to $27.53 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
