Content Design Producer

Overview

Our client is seeking a Producer to support the Content Design team. This is a full-time hybrid role working on-site in NYC from Tuesday to Thursday, with Mondays and Fridays remote. The ideal candidate brings a passion for strategic project management, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope. This role works closely with the Design Manager and Lead Producer to support team operations and drive project success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project lifecycle, from intake and scoping to delivery and execution, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of quality and adhere to deadlines.
• Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between content design and cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient workflow.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, navigating shifting priorities and resolving production challenges with agility and resourcefulness.
• Lead project kick-off meetings, stakeholder reviews, and daily stand-ups, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and effective decision-making.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring projects stay on track and achieve desired outcomes.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience producing consumer-facing design initiatives, either in-house or at an agency.
• Proven ability to manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, juggling competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, editorial, business, marketing, engineering, and legal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective communication across different time zones.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Wrike) and content management platforms (e.g., Box).
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset, with a passion for fostering teamwork and encouraging diverse perspectives.
• Expert-level proficiency in Slack.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Native fluency in English.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers.
• Familiarity with design concepts and terminology across various digital mediums (web, app, email, photography, illustration, and animation).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
• Experience in publishing or tech.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $64.95 to $72.17 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
