Conversation Designer

Overview

Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Conversation Designer!

This role is 100% remote.  We will only consider candidates who currently live in the United States.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
• Be able to work on a W-2 basis.  C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position.
• Be able to showcase your IVR and/or Chatbot experience through case studies and/or portfolio.  Samples must be narrative, detailing your design process.  We are not looking for only finished screens.

As a Conversation Designer, you’ll be immersed in the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and testing. Your work will directly influence the user experience, enhancing usability and satisfaction for a wide range of applications. What You’ll Do:

• Partner with UX Researchers to conduct user experience research, interviews, and usability tests to inform design decisions and identify user needs
• Design effective and efficient interaction designs for complex data-intensive applications, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Create low to high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visually represent product concepts
• Develop concepts and prototypes to help stakeholders envision proposed user experiences
• Communicate design ideas, prototypes, and user-centered design principles to product, engineering, and key stakeholders
• Collaborate with the UX team to establish common design standards and shared UI components
• Work with Product Managers, UX Researchers, and Engineers to define end-user needs and balance business requirements
• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to plan, research, and facilitate UX processes, including design thinking activities

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience working on IVR and Chatbot experiences. 
• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 2 – 4 years of related experience.
• Experience with user experience and design tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch, and InVision.
• Proven ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience designing for healthcare applications.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design principles.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54.70 to $60.78 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
