As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll be instrumental in driving critical data infrastructure projects forward, collaborating with brilliant engineers, and directly impacting the performance and scalability of internal systems. This role calls for a highly organized and technically adept individual to manage the lifecycle of complex data infrastructure projects. You will be the central point of contact, ensuring seamless communication, managing timelines, and mitigating risks. Your expertise in project management within a technical domain will be essential to keeping projects on track and delivering impactful results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Independently manage the full lifecycle of 1-2 complex data infrastructure projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, objectives, resources, and dependencies.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Triage technical issues and escalate as needed, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and identifying areas for optimization.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project/program management within a technical environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data engineering concepts, including data warehousing, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SQL and data warehousing/data lakes.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., MapReduce, Spark).
  • Experience with cloud platforms and databases.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:​

  • Background in AI/ML.
