As a Technical Writer on this team, you’ll empower creators to build immersive experiences within a cutting-edge virtual platform. Your work will directly impact the success of countless virtual worlds, giving developers the tools they need to bring their visions to life.
Imagine empowering creators to build breathtaking virtual experiences. In this role, you’ll be the voice of knowledge, crafting clear and engaging documentation that unlocks the full potential of a groundbreaking virtual platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain top-notch documentation (API references, guides, tutorials) for a cutting-edge virtual platform.
  • Develop code samples and examples showcasing best practices for building immersive experiences.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure documentation accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct research and interviews to understand developer needs and tailor content accordingly.
  • Independently manage projects and deadlines, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Continuously improve documentation based on feedback from internal and external users.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience writing for developers, focusing on technical documentation and code samples.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills, simplifying complex ideas into clear language.
  • Ability to work independently and escalate issues effectively.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D AR/VR gaming and a preference for experience with technical writing for platforms.
  • Knowledge of media production and instructional design principles, with experience creating interactive tutorials and guides.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73.584 to $81.76 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
