Join a Fortune 500 retail leader as a Marketing Promotional Coordinator and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of weekly ads and special promotional events. You will be the crucial link between various teams, ensuring promotional accuracy and compliance, and directly impacting customer satisfaction and sales. This role offers a unique opportunity to hone your analytical and communication skills while contributing to a dynamic retail environment.
As a Marketing Promotional Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with Category Managers, advising on and executing all promotional details, from initial planning and ad slotting to post-campaign analysis. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential in preventing errors and ensuring compliance. You will also be instrumental in resolving any promotional issues and communicating effectively with stakeholders across various departments. Responsibilities:
- Manage the accuracy of promotional offers and pricing across multiple ad versions, minimizing compliance risks and customer dissatisfaction.
- Advise and consult with the Circular Marketing team on promotional activities, offering expertise on offer construction, system requirements, and compliance guidelines.
- Ensure promotional compliance by collaborating with Legal, Production, and Signing departments.
- Audit information from suppliers and Category Managers to ensure promotional plans align with key parameters.
- Act as the central point of contact for all departments involved in promotions, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
- Track and resolve promotional issues, including customer complaints and scanning discrepancies.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 1+ years of professional experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Acrobat, etc.)
- Background in advertising or merchandising
- Background in circular marketing
- 1-2 years’ experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, Acrobat
- Bachelor’s degree
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20-24 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
