In partnership with Aquent, this hybrid opportunity places you at the center of data strategy—designing and optimizing systems that drive innovation, operational excellence, and product breakthroughs across North America.

You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to architect frameworks that enhance data accessibility, quality, and governance. If you’re ready to apply your deep knowledge of data models, ETL, and analytics in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data acquisition and integration methods
  • Oversee scientific data quality, cleansing, and correction of data quality issues
  • Manage reference and master data; define hierarchies, affiliations, and distribution rules
  • Build and maintain data models (physical & logical), ER diagrams, data dictionaries, and maps
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to drive data governance strategies
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities
  • Communicate insights clearly and effectively to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Design and implement data quality management procedures
  • Translate data requirements into business solutions and vice versa

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in data modeling, ER diagram design, and normalization/denormalization
  • Proficiency with data manipulation tools and BI/data visualization platforms
  • Programming capabilities (e.g., VBA, Python, XML)
  • Working knowledge of ETL processes and data integration workflows
  • Experience managing scientific data
  • Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies in data environments
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience coordinating data deliverables within a project team
  • Prior experience supporting scientific data initiatives in the beauty, healthcare, or CPG space

Additional Details:

  • Work model: Hybrid – must be available for regular onsite meetings in Clark, NJ
  • Travel: Monthly travel to Clark, NJ required

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $52.01 to $57.79 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
