This exciting role offers you the chance to contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will be interpreting requirements, designing, developing, and testing software solutions that address complex business challenges. What You’ll Do:
- Interpret written requirements and technical specifications to develop effective software solutions.
- Analyze, investigate, and document problems reported by clients, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain existing software, correcting defects and ensuring optimal performance.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, documenting results and recommending solutions to identified issues.
- Collaborate with fellow developers in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Must-Haves:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven ability to support all phases of the SDLC.
- Expertise in front-end technologies such as ASP.NET, Angular and/or AngularJS, JSON/XML, and Sync/ASync services.
- Strong back-end development skills, including .NET, .NET Core, C#, RESTful API design, Micro-services, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Web API and RESTful services.
- Proficiency in all aspects of testing (unit, functional, integration, end-to-end).
- Comfort with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts, unit testing principles, API test automation, and automated deployment pipeline tools.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo).
- Experience with Distributed Monolithic and Cloud Based Micro-services (Private Cloud/Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.00 to $66.67 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
