The SAP Cloud Integration Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions between SAP cloud applications (e.g., S/4HANA Cloud, SuccessFactors, Ariba, C4C), SAP on-premise systems, and third-party applications using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI/HCI) and other relevant SAP integration technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud integration patterns and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement integration flows (iFlows) using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
  • Work closely with functional consultants and business analysts to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Configure adapters for various protocols (e.g., SFTP, HTTP, SOAP, REST, OData, JDBC) and systems.
  • Develop and manage Message Mappings, Groovy Scripts, and XSLT transformations within CPI.
  • Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring strategies for integration scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring data consistency and flow stability.
  • Configure and manage security aspects of integration, including certificates and credentials.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions.
  • Advise on integration best practices, patterns, and architectural considerations for cloud landscapes.
  • Stay current with SAP’s integration roadmap and new capabilities within CPI and other integration services on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI/HCI) for designing and implementing integration solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud integration concepts, patterns, and best practices (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, publish-subscribe).
  • Proficiency in developing with Groovy Script, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
  • Experience with various communication protocols and adapters used in CPI.
  • Familiarity with integration to SAP S/4HANA (cloud and on-premise) and other SAP cloud solutions (e.g., SuccessFactors, Ariba, C4C).
  • Knowledge of APIs (RESTful and SOAP) and OData services.
  • Experience with security aspects in integration (e.g., OAuth, Basic Auth, certificates).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • SAP Integration Suite certification is a plus.
