What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with product owners and business partners to define strategy, scope software requirements, design features, and prioritize tasks.
  • Deliver new concepts and features alongside fellow developers in an agile environment.
  • Handle complex, manual workload processing and identify opportunities for automation.
  • Utilize automated software test tools and frameworks, including test-driven development, to ensure top-notch software quality.
  • Support integration efforts to build comprehensive systems from various subsystems.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technology risks.

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3-5 years of professional .NET web and service development experience (C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.Net, MVC, or other Microsoft-based tools).
  • Experience developing/managing Windows Services and WFC/SOAP-based Web Service APIs in a transaction processing environment.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining XML and XSLT-based schemas.
  • Experience enhancing and troubleshooting data processing related to financial statements and regulatory statements.
  • Expertise in SQL stored procedures, CRUD operations, and indexes.
  • Proven experience working in a scrum team within an agile environment.
  • Strong ability to resolve complex environmental and data issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across the organization.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience maintaining high-availability, low-latency legacy applications.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry, particularly retirement plan services.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Pivotal Cloud Foundry, containers, other cloud platforms).
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, nUnit, MSTest, Load Runner).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.42 to $50.47 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
