**This is a remote role open to authorized, W2 talent who are located within the Eastern Timezone and able to flex to collaborate with colleagues in Europe**

Partnering with a talented team of XD designers, business stakeholders, and tech experts, you’ll be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge, user-centered digital experiences.
As a UX/UI Designer collaborating with Aquent, you’ll be immersed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, leading the charge on designing proofs-of-concept for a theme-able Figma design system. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the visual language and user experience of various commercial websites, ensuring seamless brand consistency and a superior user journey.
What You’ll Do:
- Spearhead the discovery and design process for a series of proofs-of-concept, focusing on a theme-able Figma design system.
- Craft specific pages for diverse product brand commercial websites, utilizing and expanding upon the evolving design system.
- Conduct thorough assessments and audits of existing brand experiences to identify areas for standardization, simplification, and improvement, aligning with design system strategy and UX/UI best practices.
- Ensure seamless integration with existing and evolving design system standards, including adherence to global parent design system guidelines.
- Collaborate with leadership to define priorities and provide expert guidance on incorporating templates into the design system.
- Play a key role in piloting end-to-end design system workflows, iterating on and refining templates based on user feedback and evolving needs.
Must-Haves:
- Extensive experience in Figma, including proficiency with libraries, components, variable modes, tokens, auto-layout, and other advanced features.
- Proven experience leveraging and building design systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of their principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless teamwork with cross-functional partners.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $85 to $95 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
