We are seeking a UX/UI Designer focused on Templates to join our global healthcare client. You can make a real impact on how patients and healthcare professionals interact with vital information.
As a key member of the Experience Design team, partnering with Aquent, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping a cohesive and impactful digital experience. You will collaborate with the UX design team and the business and tech partners to define and design reusable, experience design “templates” to be incorporated into an evolving, theme-able design system that will support numerous product brand websites and go-to-market strategies. This will involve discovery and requirements gathering in addition to hands-on design work.
What You Will Do
- Lead discovery and design for a set of reusable templates and layouts that support multiple product brand websites.
- Assess and audit existing brand experiences and templates to identify common patterns, differences, and areas for standardization and simplification.
- Create templates that align with UX/UI best practices and support a theme-able design system across strategic initiatives.
- Ensure all work aligns with both local system guidelines and the global parent design system standards.
- Collaborate closely with XD leadership, tech partners, and business stakeholders to prioritize, shape, and guide template design work.
- Support end-to-end design system workflows, including piloting, iterating, and maintaining template assets as system needs evolve.
- Work hands-on in Figma to design and manage libraries, components, variable modes, tokens, and auto-layout structures.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience designing for and working within component-based design systems.
- Deep expertise in Figma, including libraries, components, variables, tokens, and auto-layout.
- Ability to balance system-level thinking with the practical needs of product-specific brand experiences.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and business stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to lead audits, propose design improvements, and implement solutions that scale.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $85 to $95 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
