As a key member of the Financial Change Order (FCO) team, the Finance Manager will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the rules and processes that govern client change requests. Your analyses will directly influence financial assessments, ensuring accurate forecasting and sound decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage cutting-edge tools, and become a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders toward data-driven solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate the potential financial impact of plan design changes using existing models and collaborating with internal partners to develop new ones.
- Support the development and user acceptance testing of new analytical tools.
- Access and analyze data using Excel, SQL, SAS, and financial change order models to project rebate guarantee impact.
- Coordinate across teams (Sales, Analytic Consulting Services, Clinical Operations, Underwriting, etc.) to ensure proper controls are in place for reviewing client benefit design and formulary changes.
- Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders (sales, underwriting, underwriting analytics) on analyses.
- Lead client-specific analyses and discussions, articulating complex findings in a clear, concise manner and meeting deadlines.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (degrees in finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics, or other data-related fields preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
- Alternatively: 2+ years of professional experience in the above areas, including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis.
- Recent graduates from top-tier colleges with relevant internship experience will also be considered.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex findings to stakeholders.
- Prior experience or knowledge of the PBM industry or pharmaceuticals.
- Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and prioritize competing tasks.
- Experience working cross-functionally within an organization.
- Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for knowledge sharing.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $48 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
