As a Project Lead, you’ll play a crucial role in two key areas: managing a team of translators and overseeing the operational aspects of a temporary office location. This unique opportunity blends linguistic coordination with facilities management, offering a diverse and challenging experience.

This exciting role offers the chance to streamline communication within a global organization and ensure a smooth and efficient work environment for a large team. Your organizational skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential in navigating the complexities of international collaboration and facilities oversight.
Responsibilities:

Translator Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of contract-based translators, ensuring effective resource allocation across engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain a clear system for tracking translator resources and escalate any roadblocks to resolution.
  • Manage relationships with translation vendors, ensuring timely purchase orders and invoice processing.

Office Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of the temporary office location, including functionality and maintenance.
  • Manage vendors related to office rental, restroom facilities, power equipment, cleaning, and grounds maintenance.
  • Source and evaluate new vendors as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits of the office location, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary actions.
  • Plan and implement future temporary office locations, securing executive approval and managing the implementation process.
  • Develop standardized approaches to office location management, addressing any existing inefficiencies.
  • Vendor Management

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2-year Associate’s or Technical Degree with experience in a construction environment or technical field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience in creating and utilizing detailed project schedules.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, including budgeting and invoice processing.
  • Experience managing a team of 20+ individuals.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Ariba or SAP.
  • AutoCAD experience, including the ability to read, interpret, and modify 2D drawings.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $36 to $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
