Our luxury catering and events client is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join their team.

This is a part-time hybrid role with some onsite needs in Boston to shoot content at restaurants and events (no onsite office work required).

Approximately 10+ hours per week depending on needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms and be able to create engaging and shareable content that aligns with their brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, schedule, and publish original social posts for the brand, events, venues, and restaurants using Later.com
  • Capture onsite, behind the scenes footage to create dynamic video content 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team (designer, photographer, digital marketing specialist) to develop and execute social media campaigns to grow following
  • Analyze data to track performance and make necessary adjustments
  • Engage with followers and repost relevant content
  • Coordinate social media influencers
  • Experience in the Food / Beverage, Wedding, Events or Hospitality industries a significant plus
  • Experience working with luxury brands a significant plus

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
