Our luxury catering and events client is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team.
This is a part-time, remote role with some possible onsite needs. Candidates in the Boston area preferred.
Approximately 20+ hours per week depending on needs.
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic, and increase conversions for the company. This role involves a wide range of digital marketing activities, including website/content management, SEO, digital ad management, and email campaigns. The Digital Marketing Specialist collaborates with internal teams, external vendors, and freelancers to ensure the effective execution of marketing plans and the achievement of business objectives.
What You’ll Do:
- Web Management
- Manage and enhance the website’s functionality (WordPress), including SEO, Google Keywords, and monthly metrics reporting
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, web development vendors, and domain/hosting platforms to extend capabilities and resolve technical issues as required
- Ensure a consistent digital presence for all brands across multiple channels and through effective digital asset management
- Digital Advertising
- Collect project details, such as ad specifications, dimensions, preferred file types, and internal objectives to effectively collaborate with team members and external vendors
- Implement and monitor paid ads (on Google, Facebook, etc.) adhering to active campaigns and brand standards
- Utilize analytical tools to assess campaign performance, conversion rates, website traffic, organic search effectiveness, and other relevant metrics
- Marketing:
- Assist in planning the yearly marketing budget to create strategies and quarterly schedules to align with sales goals
- Design and launch branded email campaigns on a schedule, tracking and measuring their success
- Coordinate with freelancers (photographer, designer, social media manager) ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of website management, SEO, paid advertising, social media marketing, email marketing, and content creation
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEO tools, and social media platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams, external vendors, and freelancers
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Must be a self-starter willing to learn and enthusiastically dive into new projects
- Experience in the Food / Beverage, Wedding, Events or Hospitality industries a significant plus
- Experience working with luxury brands a significant plus
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
