Experience Design Operations Consultant

Overview

Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for an Experience Design Operations Consultant in Hartford, CT!

This is a hybrid position.  You will only be considered for this role if you live in or can commute to our client’s office at least 3 days/week.  Relocation is not allowed for this position.

In addition, to be considered for this position, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind during the duration of the assignment.  C2C is not allowed.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Experience Design (XD) Operations Consultant to enhance our client’s Design Operations practice. This role will focus on streamlining tools, processes, and frameworks that empower design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. The consultant will work cross-functionally with technology teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to support the onboarding and adoption of design tools, work management systems, and performance measurement strategies.

In this role, the consultant will focus on initiatives that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of design teams. This includes driving the adoption and onboarding of enterprise design tools, improving work tracking and management systems, and developing strategies for measuring and reporting on design impact. They will collaborate with technology teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders to implement scalable solutions that address team needs, standardize practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the design organization.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

• Background in Design Operations or related fields.
• Familiarity with Figma
• Experience in tool procurement and vendor management.
• Understanding of Agile, Lean, and other methodologies related to design and product development.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $49.93 to $54.93 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
