Software Engineer

Overview

Responisbilities:

• Assesses a well-defined problem and leads the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards.
• Manages small- to moderate-sized solutions, or plays a key role on larger teams, working within the parameters of two to three sprints.
• Provides direction to team members and/or vendors.
• Advises product owners on discrete technology-related business problems; formulates options, including assessing their relative merits and risks; and works with product owners to determine the best solution.

Experience:

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals
• 2+ years professional software development experience
• Programming – Python AND Golang
• Infrastructure as Code / Dev Ops practices and technologies like Terraform
• AWS Cloud services experience
• Experience developing and using microservices
• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
• Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 3 yrs; Masters + 4 yrs; Associates degree + 6 yrs; High School + 7 yrs.

Ideal Candidate:

• Knowledgeable on AIML / machine learning concepts (ML Serving / ML Training, GenAI, RAG, Vector Databases, A/B Testing, Model Experimentation)
• Experience with Big Data technologies (e. g. Spark, Kubernetes, Sagemaker)
• Experience with Databricks ecosystem

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54.59 to $60.66 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
