The Portfolio Management Technology team is looking for a talented technologist to develop software and solutions for our private cloud-based trading platform. The team is responsible for building ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation trading platform. The application should support processing several billions of transactions during market hours. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible team that delivers innovative business solutions leveraging emerging technologies. Responsibilities:
- Using your technical expertise to make informed decisions.
- Executing effective strategies to ensure the quality of systems or products by integrating best practices in quality assurance testing.
- Resolving issues in the designated business area related to testing and compliance verification by maintaining a deep understanding of current and emerging quality assurance testing practices
- Working closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on system behavior and acceptance criteria.
- Supporting and/or leading development projects with moderate complexity and scope
- Analyzing functional requirements and create comprehensive test cases that can be automated, ensuring thorough coverage of application features.
- Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, to efficiently execute test suites across various platforms and environments
- Understanding complex business requirements in Financial Services domain
- Making a positive influence on your team members and peers
- Communicating complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Working on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) using new/emerging technology/tools
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Hands on experience gained through 6-10+ years in a software Test engineer role
- Expertise in popular test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, NUnit, Reqnroll)
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional testing, regression testing, performance testing)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced development environment
- Good knowledge of database concepts for data-driven testing scenarios
- Ability to effectively communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- The ability work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to multiple projects simultaneously, and learn new technologies quickly.
- Effective time management skills and strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Required – Experience in implementing automated tests using BDD frameworks like Cucumber, Reqnroll, or similar tools to execute test scenarios and validate system behavior
- Required – Experience in writing code with C# (.NET, .NET Core), Experience with API testing tools and techniques, DevOps practices and tools
- Required – Experience working with Databases and Messaging platforms like IBM MQ, Kafka
- Desired – Experience with NoSQL database, Splunk (logging), PCF (Cloud)
- Desired – Familiarity with our Technology ecosystem.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50.57 to $56.19 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
