Project Overview: 

Our client’s design platform group is a cross-product, cross-platform design and engineering team. They take the most impactful design opportunities and make them a reality through UX guidance and platform code. We make our client’s products more efficient at building beautifully designed products for everyone.

The Design Intelligence team collaborates with other internal teams to improve AI’s understanding of UI and UX design (reasoning, generation, critiquing, manipulation.) We are a “tri-coastal” team with core members on the US west coast, NYC, and Germany.

Overall Responsibilities: 

  • Development of datasets for AI training and evaluation
  • Eval development and experimentation (in collaboration with UX team)
  • Dataset creation tooling development
  • Data analysis of benchmark results, including development of necessary infrastructure
  • Fine tuning LLM models
  • Productionizing of datasets for application to post-training of LLMs

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Code comprehension – ability to extract relevant information from reading code in one or more core languages and frameworks, including the ability to leverage the code as a resource to create work output for users or stakeholders. 
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
  • Experience creating prototypes or custom tooling for the product development process.
  • Experience with front-end development technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A passion for AI/ML and its potential to transform user experiences.
  • Experience working with large datasets and machine learning models or dataset creation or annotation.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $112.90 to $125.45 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
