Community Manager

Overview

This role requires onsite presence in New York 3 days per week.

Our beauty client is looking for a Community Manager to join our team and take charge of their Instagram community. In this role, you’ll craft compelling content, engage with our audience, and build relationships with influencers to elevate the brands digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Content Strategy (40%)

• Manage Instagram presence by posting, monitoring, and engaging with the community
• Write engaging captions and develop thoughtful community responses
• Plan and execute a monthly content calendar, sourcing UGC and securing rights
• Ensure diverse and inclusive content representation
• Stay ahead of social trends and apply insights to content strategy

Agile Content Creation & Product Launch Support (30%)

• Capture and create on-the-go content for trending moments and key product launches
• Plan and execute content strategies for new releases
• Track and report on content performance to optimize future posts

Influencer & Ambassador Management (30%)

• Identify and build relationships with influencers and brand advocates
• Manage product send-outs and influencer outreach
• Oversee partnerships, payment processing, and content briefing/review

Who You Are

• Experienced in social media management, community engagement, and influencer relations
• Strong copywriting skills with a knack for writing engaging captions and responses
• Passionate about beauty, haircare, and emerging digital trends
• Highly organized and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
• Skilled in content planning, creation, and performance reporting

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $33.18 to $36.87 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
