Our major Healthcare client is looking for a Product Designer to join their Experience Design team focused on transforming healthcare provider workflows. In this role, you’ll lead the design of digital solutions that address critical challenges facing modern medical practices. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, efficient experiences that streamline administrative workflows, enhance clinical operations, and improve practice efficiency, ultimately enabling healthcare providers to focus on what matters most – delivering exceptional patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end design processes for provider-facing products, from research and conceptualization through detailed interaction design and implementation support
  • Immerse yourself in provider office environments to conduct contextual research, observational studies, and workflow analysis to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that transform complex healthcare workflows into intuitive digital experiences
  • Partner with product managers to translate provider office challenges into actionable product requirements and measurable success metric
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs, providing detailed specifications and participating in technical discussions
  • Develop and maintain design systems that promote consistency and efficiency across provider-facing products
  • Create and validate design solutions through rapid prototyping and iterative testing in provider office settings

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design for complex digital products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process and problem-solving in healthcare or other complex industry
  • Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma)
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Experience with design systems and component-based design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing for healthcare providers or enterprise software
  • Direct experience working in or consulting with medical practices
  • Knowledge of medical practice operations and workflow optimization
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience with service design or systems thinking
  • Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field

The target hiring compensation range for this role is  $60 – $64 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
