We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including email campaign creation, automation, and journey optimization. The ideal candidate will be proficient in email development, including HTML, CSS, and AMPscript, and have expertise in building data-driven, personalized email campaigns. This position will work closely with creative teams and internal stakeholders to optimize email marketing strategies and enhance customer engagement through SFMC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution:

    • Transform static images into dynamic email campaigns and oversee the deployment process using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure campaign execution aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
    • Conduct comprehensive email testing and coordinate with creatives for feedback and improvements.
    • Manage and execute end-to-end email campaigns from briefs to reporting.
  • Journey & Automation Management:

    • Design, implement, and optimize automated email journeys using Journey Builder.
    • Set up email automation workflows in Automation Studio, including file imports, email sends, and SQL queries.
    • Monitor and adjust customer engagement journeys to improve results, using triggers, decision splits, and journey analytics.
  • Email Development:

    • Develop responsive email templates using HTML/CSS, ensuring they are optimized for mobile devices and email clients.
    • Use AMPscript to personalize email content based on subscriber data.
    • Work with Content Builder to create reusable templates, dynamic content, and personalized email blocks.
  • Data Management & Personalization:

    • Utilize Contact Builder to manage subscriber data and create segmented audiences for targeted campaigns.
    • Implement data-driven content strategies by incorporating real-time or external data for personalization.
    • Use SQL queries to extract and manipulate data to build tailored email campaigns.
  • Analytics & Reporting:

    • Track and report on key email performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, and unsubscribes.
    • Run A/B tests for subject lines, content, and send times to optimize campaign performance.
    • Analyze Journey Builder performance reports to assess customer engagement and journey optimization.
    • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with analytics tools like Tableau and Google Analytics for in-depth analysis and reporting.
  • Email Marketing Best Practices:

    • Ensure email deliverability and compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other regulatory guidelines.
    • Implement mobile optimization and optimize content length, subject lines, and CTAs for higher engagement.
    • Utilize tools like Litmus or Email on Acid for cross-client testing and debugging.

Qualifications:

  • Experience Requirements:

    • 3–8 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
    • Proven expertise in creating, testing, deploying, and optimizing email campaigns.
    • Experience in using key SFMC features, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
    • Familiarity with Salesforce integrations and API connections for campaign automation.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email development and a strong understanding of responsive design principles.
    • Experience with AMPscript for dynamic content and personalization.
    • Strong command of SQL for writing queries to manipulate data within Marketing Cloud.
    • Experience with Photoshop or similar tools for creative asset adjustments is a plus.
  • Personalization & Content Management:

    • Ability to set up dynamic content blocks and audience segmentation based on data extensions and filters.
    • Experience working with data-driven content for personalized email marketing campaigns.
  • Analytics & Reporting Skills:

    • Proficiency in tracking and analyzing email performance metrics to drive campaign improvements.
    • Ability to conduct A/B testing and interpret Journey Builder performance reports.
    • Familiarity with integrating SFMC with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Marketing Cloud Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required with relevant experience).

  • Working Environment:
    • Work independently within a small team, collaborating closely with both creative teams and client-side staff to deliver high-impact email campaigns.
    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $72.00 to $77.17 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
