Our client is looking for a Senior Security Engineer – to improve and expand the security of our cloud and on-prem infrastructure through security controls and tools leveraging both security products and custom tooling that are both standards and non-standards-based requirements. As part of a high impact security team, you will be empowered to lead and work across the client’s organizations to raise the bar for protecting the cloud and on-prem infrastructure.  

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead efforts that bring alignment on standards, processes, and technologies used to secure the cloud and on-prem infrastructure platforms and tools used in the enterprise. You will identify systemic areas of opportunity, define plans to close gaps, and gain buy-in from teams in the development of security baselines, controls, and control procedures for implementation. You will push for automation and drive towards secure by default environments. Along the way, you will be a trusted voice who shares your knowledge and expertise. 

Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical program/product management, software engineering, or similar role.
  • 5+ years of hand on experience in cloud and on-prem infrastructure, platforms, and security operations.
  • 5+ years of general cybersecurity experience.
  • 3+ year of cloud and on-prem infrastructure and security operations experience with security configuration and tooling to operate at scale.
  • Large network / security architecture ownership at a large service provider or cloud provider
  • Customer facing experience supporting complex infrastructure products or solutions.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $71.13 to $79.04 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
