The Post-Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the post-production process of our clients entertainment experiences, from initial concept to final delivery. You will work closely with creative and technical teams to ensure the highest quality of immersive content is achieved, maintaining schedules, budgets, and the latest in VR post-production technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Management of Horizon Worlds, Applications, In-App Content, and Creative Assets post production
- Own Post-Production efforts by managing all aspects of the post-production process for VR content, including editing, sound design, visual effects, and final rendering
- Coordinate and deliver marketing content with creative leads, making sure legal and talent have approved before final delivery
- Collaborate closely with Producers, Production Companies, Developers, and Agencies to complete tasks, status reports, schedules, scope, risk assessment, resource requirements, etc.
- Approve and verify post schedules align with internal and external milestones, confirm timelines are not overlapping with other shows, and verify that Creatives have enough time to review assets
- Develop and collaborate on detailed production timelines, budgets, resource plans and objectives
- Manage relationships and communication with Project stakeholders, senior management, and other contributors.
- Help identify key barriers to a project’s success and support in actively managing mitigation activities
- Support the communication needs of the product teams, stakeholders, and delivery teams with internal tools for knowledge sharing, document retention, and governance
- Monitor distribution surfaces for any technical issues during reviews and launches to ensure content is playing properly
- Maintain and improve the project management tools and project dashboards
- Facilitate meetings with team members across different disciplines in multiple time zones
Skills:
- Proven experience as production management or a passion for the industry
- Project Management experience
- High level of technical acumen needed with post-production software including final cut, Avid or Premiere
- Timely responses and ability to juggle multiple projects
- Post production tools such as S3, MediaSilo, Adobe Photoshop or Figma
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving
- A team player with great communication skills
Must-have skills:
- Production or post production manager with 2-4 years experience
- Managing multiple projects at once
- Post production tool experience (S3, MediaSilo, Adobe Photoshop or Figma)
Nice-to-have skills:
- Interest in VR
- Marketing experience and project management
- Entertainment and music experience
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $58 to $64 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
