As a Marketing Technology Sales Engineer, you’ll work with customers to help them achieve their business goals by architecting technology and data solutions that deliver marketing experiences. You will use industry and product knowledge to help consult with clients to identify how adopting technology and data solutions will integrate and improve their existing marketing technology architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Data Transformation Leads and Marketing Platform Account Executives to sell new ads products and advanced marketing activations.
  • Translate technical solutions to business outcomes via storytelling, narrative building, and more for customer contacts.
  • Consult with the Platforms Sales team on best strategies and approaches to drive customer business outcomes.
  • Consult with sales and client teams to conduct discovery, design technical diagrams and guidelines intended to address specific business needs.
  • Attend meetings and fulfill action items
  • Support our sales/customer stakeholders
  • Make progress against broad business objectives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience identifying and recommending scalable solutions to improve customer strategy, and working with senior leadership.
  • Experience Sales Pitching to executive stakeholders.
  • Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable
  • Experience with Google Marketing Platform or Google Ads.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience in whiteboarding technology systems and data flows.
  • Experience resolving complex technical issues and making them simple to a variety of audiences, ranging from practitioner to executive.
  • Familiarity and interest with the broader marketing and ad technology space.
  • Baseline understanding of digital industry changes and implications of privacy.
  • Excellent problem solving, technical aptitude and communication/storytelling skills.
