Program Manager – Executive Briefing Speaker Bureau

This Program Manager will lead our Executive Briefing Program Speaker Bureau. The Briefing Program connects our partners, prospects and customers to our vision for the world’s next computing platform, while strengthening trust and confidence as a technology partner. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, recruiting, and managing our global speaker community.
This role reports to the Global Lead, Executive Experience Programs and as the primary point of contact for the Executive Briefing Program speaker network you will be responsible for overseeing the speaker program operationally end to end; ensuring that we provide a world class experience for both the external Briefing attendees and our SME speakers alike.
The role requires that this individual be knowledgeable and confident when interacting with executives and have the ability to match speaker talent with the right Executive Briefings. This individual must be able to work well in a geographically-distributed, small team environment and cross-functionally across the company, have the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:
- Develop an end to end global speaker bureau strategy for the Executive Briefing Program including overseeing outreach, management and measurement
- Identify, recruit and manage a diverse internal network of thought leaders and speakers on topics ranging from immersive technologies to AI
- Oversee the “call for speakers” process including the review and approval management of Briefing slots to ensure high quality and diverse thought leaders across every Executive Briefing
- Partner and support Briefing Delivery Leads in the identification and sourcing of Speakers aligned to Briefing themes and outcomes
- Provide pre-briefing support to subject matter expert speakers, including facilitating prep calls, content reviews, and presentation walkthroughs
- Own on-the-day and on-site coordination and communication with Briefing Speakers
- Capture feedback and insights on Briefing Speakers to identify trends and opportunity areas for improvement and growth
- Design program SMART goals and reporting process which delivers actionable insights, enabling informed decisions to optimize Briefing CSAT and engagement success
- Actively contribute to the cross-team efforts to create a world-class Briefing program which accelerates sales opportunities and elevates partner relationships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to identify new ways to drive best practice, trends and thought leadership in the Executive Briefings
Minimum Qualification:
- 6+ years’ experience in a program manager role leading equivalent speaker / briefing content programs
- A proven track record building programs for high profile developer / technology / B2B SaaS Sales / channels teams
- Experienced Business Partner to senior leadership level in an international environment
- Results driven mindset with a focus on measuring and improving program effectiveness
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines amidst a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Comfort working across a geographically distributed team, including Bay Area and London
- Excellent communication and a talent for leading cross-functional teams for complex projects
- Written and spoken fluency in English
Must haves:
- Flexible to work across Bay Area and London based team
- Strong communications skills
- Experience as a Project/program manager with operational skills
- Prior experience building and/or managing a speaker program is a big plus
- Communications and PR background also an asset
- Speaker bureau program manager, Exec briefing manager, communications program manager experience
- Comfortable working with all stakeholders (especially as Briefing Speakers will come from all levels of the organization, including senior leadership)
- Must be able to build relationships fast with cross functional team
- Will support speakers on the day of briefings (half to full day sessions) in support of the Briefing leads along with feedback process for speakers
- Measures of success include successful creation and launch of Speaker Bureau program, and progression every step of the way to see that goal, along with recruitment and matching of SME speakers to Executive Briefing needs in partnership with Briefing leads
Nice to have:
- Experience working at Tech Companies in a similar briefing program capacity
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $100 to $110 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
