Our well known Energy Industry client is searching for a Marketing Project Manager to to lead and execute corporate and marketing communications projects from concept to completion. In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure seamless project delivery, manage budgets, and maintain high-quality production standards. If you have a strong background in project management, media coordination, and communications strategy, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and inclusive workplace.

This role is hybrid in office 1-2 days per week in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. 

Project Planning

  • Coordinate the development, production, and distribution of corporate and marketing communications.
  • Act as the project lead for communication initiatives, ensuring timelines align with resources.
  • Support the development of communication plans and recommend strategies.
  • Brief teams on project goals, review copy drafts, and route proofs for approval.

Media Placement

  • Collaborate with media and advertising agencies to implement media plans, manage schedules, and allocate budgets.
  • Ensure timely delivery of creative assets and track advertising schedules against the budget.

Production Process

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers, analyze quotes, and select vendors for projects.
  • Oversee production, ensuring quality and accuracy in all phases, from proofreading to pre-press checks.
  • Monitor project budgets, track progress, and report on project phases to management.
  • Ensure delivery of final materials to clients and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project and communications management.
  • Expertise in print production, digital/social media, and communication strategies.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Adobe Suite).

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $48 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
