Our client, a global investment management firm, is looking for a Publishing / Presentation Speclalist!
Responsibilities:
- Updates data, formatting, layout, design and content for print, PDF and presentation materials based on established templates in PowerPoint using the Seismic platform
- Updates and creates charts, graphs, templates, and exhibits to be used in communications materials, websites, and/or presentations
- May prepare presentation and notes files for use in meetings and webcasts
- Customizes materials based on client needs while still applying brand, style and data presentation guidelines
Ideal Background:
- Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the following software: Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (advanced), Microsoft Excel (intermediate; charting skills critical),
- Demonstrates strong detail orientation, process orientation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; ability to effectively manage an unpredictable workload and meet established deadlines
- Demonstrates a keen ability to problem solve and manage ambiguity
- Demonstrates analytical thinking, an eye for detail and ability to spot trends and variances in data; able to work with large volumes of data from multiple sources
- Demonstrates ability to collaborate with diverse working styles and with team members across business units; initiative to work and learn independently; proactively contribute to department goals; and ability to lead others while maintaining effective business relationships with associates throughout the organization
- Demonstrates the ability to learn new applications, as needed
Qualifications:
- Ideally has familiarity with financial concepts and the investment industry, including key data elements.
- Work in another highly regulated industry (pharma, legal) a plus
- Ideally at least 1-3 yrs experience working in a creative corporate environment
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $40 to $42.72 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
